an accidental capsule wardrobe
These pictures were taken approximately 5 minutes before I introduced Seb to my favorite place to get breakfast growing up. Spoiler alert - he loved it! Unfortunately for him, it’s not often that we’re at my parents on a weekday morning…
Given that I had to pack a capsule-ish wardrobe for our 3 weeks of transition time during the moves, I went very neutral with my choices - mostly blacks, whites, tans, and a little blue here and there. Despite my march resolution, the weather decided to warm up the week we were in Sanford and this was the only short sleeve option I had packed.
I’m in love with these shoes. D’orsay flats are my favorite flat shape and I love that leopard print is practically neutral. These shoes and the top are two pieces I routinely grab when I can’t come up with another outfit. Since I had to narrow my wardrobe down to essentials, I ended up going with my tried and true favorites. Here are a few things that made the cut:
