my winter bar cart
Normally, I’m a Christmas decorations until January 1 type of person, but this year I went ahead and swapped out our bar cart before we came home for Christmas so it’s one less thing I have left to do when we get back. Originally, I was thinking about going with a buffalo plaid cocktail napkin and doing heavier decorations, but once I pulled out the champagne glasses and remembered my mini string lights, I knew a simple gold theme was in order.
I love the black velvet ribbon tied around the bottle. I pulled in a few darker colors to offset all the gold. Once I had decided on the glasses + lights, I shopped my house to find a few other things that were gold + took off all the bottles + glasses that didn’t match my color scheme. I store my extras in one of our kitchen cupboards in case we actually need to use them.
I love that this looks a little bit like a new years cart! I love starting off the new year with a fresh start, and this simple look does the trick. What are you looking forward to in 2019? And have you signed up for the 30 days of growth yet?
