I already talked a little bit about how my mindset on mornings and why I believe that alignment before action is more effective, but what does that actually mean for my mornings? What does my alignment time look like?
Read MoreI don’t even know where to start with this post because this year has been BONKERS. I started off the year fairly new in my law of attraction journey and was devouring content like it was my job. We got married, traveled, learned a lot, and had so much fun. I left my corporate job, started a blog, Seb started his own business, and we’ve both grown a ton. Here’s a recap of some highlights month by month (though I’m sure the best stuff was in the details).
Read MoreI’ve always noticed it for myself outside of the context of astrology or any other alternative approach. I go through periods of intense motivation and periods of sluggishness. Energetic shifts can have a large impact on your personal energy. It’s the reason that things can go a little haywire at the full moon every month. So I have start researching a little more into what energy shifts are happening. While I definitely don’t think this is a hard and fast rule, I’ve noticed that this particular shift, the winter solstice, has certainly reflected in my personal energy as well.
Read MoreIt’s about this time every year when I feel like I need one more thing for a few people on my list. And of course, that means Amazon Prime! So here are a few things that are great last minute additions to a gift!
Read MoreI’ve loved putting together these gift guides, but this is definitely my favorite one yet. The things that I’m most tempted to buy fall into the personal growth category, but I think those are the thing people are most hesitant to buy. I hope these ideas inspire you to encourage the growth and development of any of the self-improvers in your life!
Read MoreI’m learning to enjoy the journey. September and October were so full of growth and new challenges that I was constantly occupied, excited and thriving. November hit and my internal growth slowed (which to me seems like the worst thing ever) and, while I was still chugging along at running the blog, I wasn’t doing much outside of that. I wasn’t inspired to do any of the extra projects I had planned to do. I wasn’t going above and beyond.
Read MoreA law of attraction lifestyle to me means: pursuing my joy and purpose every day, looking for new ways to grow and learn, and intentionally creating the life I want to live. And the truth is, that’s what I set out to do – tell the story of what it really looks like to live a law of attraction lifestyle. I haven’t been doing that so here’s the real truth of the uncomfortable middle.
Read MoreThis is basically just a list of all of the things I have and love. Sharing is caring, right? It’s almost overwhelming how much is available for 20 something females as gifts, but these are the things that I’m loving so you’ve got an honest opinion on what would be a great gift.
Read MoreI prefer to hear product recommendations from someone I trust. I approached these gift guides from that place - recommending things that I/we already have and use or things that are on our list. Without further ado, a gift guide fit for Seb (or an guy that’s easy to please and hard to buy for).
Read MoreOur front door is unreasonably snug against the floor. As in every time you opened the door, the rug would move with door. It literally drove me batty. This went on for several months. I bought the thinnest mat I could find, but the madness continued. How was anyone supposed to wipe their feet! I don’t want to be stuck on the same thoughts every day unless they are happy, healthy and productive. Cleaning up the nuisance thoughts like “what should I do with that rug” or “I really need to touch up that trim” is an easy and relieving way to make room for new, more productive thoughts.
Read MoreWhere did October go? Last month in my monthly update, I talked a bit about my hope of getting momentum going on the blog and that was a definite success! We had a busy October on both the business and personal fronts. What’s on the docket for November?
Read MoreThere’s something about all the stuff you put in a room over time that can be mentally cluttering. Sometimes walking into a clean and clutter-free space is more relaxing and less mentally-taxing, but that’s not how I roll, so here is how I cope with being a borderline hoarder married to a minimalist.
